Accident (BBC-2 1979-1980, Michael Byrne, Anthony Head)
Accident was a multi perspective drama series in which the lives of ten people intertwine following a road accident in the Home Counties on a wet morning in March.
Those involved include a group of students off on a trip, a couple expecting a child are on there way to visit Yugoslavia, a stockbroker and his chauffeur and two prison guards and their charge.
The series looks at the accident from all angles, with heavy use of flashbacks, flash forwards and the like.
Although forgotten these days this ensemble drama series did manage to attract a high quality cast.
