Border Cafe (BBC-1 2000, Elizabeth Carling, Sean Gallagher)
Comedy drama series Border Cafe saw successful rock star Charlotte retiring from the music business to open a somewhat strange cafe with her boyfriend David. David’s slightly sub-normal brother Kidder was taken on as head chef and Ronnie (who had played Charlotte in a tribute band) was sort of employed there.
The cafe was titled Border Cafe because it was located on the borders of three counties, although their appeared to be some confusion as to what the three counties really were.
