Nuts In May (BBC 1976, Roger Sloman, Alison Steadman)
Comedy drama broadcast under the Play For Today banner. Keith, who is obsessed with mind numbingly dull facts and with doing everything just so, goes on a disastrous camping holiday with with his equally dull girlfriend Candice-Marie. The synopsis certainly does not do this play justice, it’s very funny and easily the equal of Mike Leigh’s other TV masterpiece Abigail’s Party.
