Telecrimes (BBC 1946, James Raglan)

Telecrimes was an anthology series of short whodunnits that appeared on the BBC late in 1946 when the BBC had begun television broadcasting again after the end of the second world war. Over the course of six weeks there were two short mysteries in each fifteen minute episode. Broadcast live and not record like 99% of all TV output at the time.

Mileson Horton had written an earlier series in 1938 that was basically the same show but called Telecrime rather than Telecrimes.
