Season One Episode One

In The Disappearance a group of kids are forced to band together when a freak scientific accident sees every single human over the age of 15 vanish into thin air. The kids are not sure what on Earth is going on but realise that there is safety in numbers and seek refuge in a nearby hotel. Using the hotel’s cctv they pinpoint the time that the incident happened – 11.11am and piece and thanks to a local newspaper also discover that a major scientific test was planned for that exact time. It is clear the two events are linked.

A fab opening episode, classic scifi in style, Survivors in particular as the kids roam the empty streets and have fun in a supermarket. It also quickly setting up what is obviously going to be a quest type scenario as the kids focus on the Sparticle mystery of the title.
