The special made originally for
showing in the Millennium Dome it received its TV Premiere on Sky One 1 October
2000. The plot saw Blackadder and Baldrick travelling through time (in a time
machine based on Leonardo Da Vinci's sketches) meeting some old favourites such
as Queenie and Nursie as well as some famous figures from history like Robin
Hood (very Lord Flasheart), William Shakespeare and the Duke of Wellington. The
show started in Blackadder Hall,New Years Eve, 1999 with a dinner party for a
few close friends (Bishop Melchett, Viscount George, Archdeacon Darling and Lady
Elizabeth). First broadcast
on terrestrial TV (BBC1) was on 21 April 2002.
