Sitcom. Dave Whiteman and his family living in the lap of luxury in Beverly Hills appear to have it all but have their lives shaken up when they take in Jerry Baskin, a middle aged tramp, (Baskin had chosen the Whiteman's pool to commit suicide in but was rescued by Dave). Baskin also managed to teach the Whiteman's a few things about life. Based on the 1985 film of the same name which itself was based on a 1932 French original called Boudu Saved From Drowning.

Sitcom. Behind the scenes at an animation studio in Hollywood, the staff of whom were working on a show called Dippy Duck. Skip Tarkenton was newly arrived at the studio eager to make his mark as a cartoonist, while he was full of the joys of spring his fellow staffers were much more cynical about the ways of Hollywood. Other characters included Brooks Carmichael, an aging artist, writer Marty Fenneman and film editor Andrea Lewin.

Following the end of the second season the show was cancelled but thanks to overseas (especially the BBC in the UK) the show rose phoenix like for one more season.

Coltrane. Their cousin, the short shorts wearing Daisy pretty much stole the limelight each week. Occasional reunion movies have been made in recent years, the most recent being 2000's Hazzard in Hollywood.

DYNASTY

Drama series. The often bizarre lives of the oil rich Carrington family in Denver, Colorado. Anything that could go wrong went wrong for the family, included head of the family Blake being put on trial for the suspected murder of his son's gay lover. His wife Krystle's regular battles with 'soap bitch' Alexis and people undergoing complete body changes etc. George Peppard was originally hired for the role of Blake Carrington but the creators quickly realised he wouldn't be right and Forsythe assumed the role.
