Period drama series. Life for a group of GI's and their families as they adjust to civilian life after the end of world war II. Focusing initially in season one on Lt Hank Metcalf who came home with plans to marry his sweetheart Sarah only to find her in love with someone else (his brother Jeff), Hank's friend Charlie had returned home with a British bride (Caroline), as the series progressed Hank and Sarah ended up getting married but she later died and he left town, also heavily involved were The Sloan family who ran Sloan Industries.

One of CBS s earliest daytime shows, Homemaker's Exchange
was an unpretentious time killer offering household and
cooking tips. CBS tried to encourage advertisers to participate
by saying they could demonstrate their products live on the
show. It was sponsored by Nash Cars and was seen on at
least 12 stations, a rather wide distribution at the time. Hosted by Louise Leslie.

There was a John Wayne fil featuyring the same character that appeared in 1953 (also called Hondo) and the character was created by Louis L'Amour.

Sitcom. Misadventures of two sisters, one, Faith, a former Hollywood soap star who has seen better days, certainly better than the day that both of her characters -- twins -- were killed off. Faith has no brains ("Enough of this depressing death talk. Who thinks I'm pretty?" she says without a hint of a wink), absolutely no sense of responsibility and no self-awareness. She has no options, either, so she has to move in with Hope her sister. The older of the two Fairfield sisters, and she's sensible, demure and a control freak (until Faith drives her batty, that is, and she goes wild). She lives in a sitcom-standard suburban house (in Ohio) with her sitcom-standard suburban family: wisecracking but essentially tame orthodontist husband Charley; daughters Sydney, an eye-rolling teenager, and Hayley, a striving preteen; and moppet 8-year-old son Jason.
