Today Tuesday 17 January 2023, there is a new episode of 24 Hours in A&E.

Episode 3 In this episode, 18-year-old Kye had a heart attack during soccer practice and must be transported to the hospital. Consultant Craig and the Resuscitation Unit team are in a race against the clock while Lorenda, Kye’s mother, describes how important football was to her son as a child and how he hoped to make a living as a professional football player.

Tom, a 30-year-old passenger in a car that was in a head-on collision, is also shown in Resus. While doctors assess Tom’s terrible ankle injury, Tom’s father Trevor shares the story of Tom’s own development into a parent.

Phoebe, a student in her twenties, and her boyfriend, Matt, visit the Minor Injuries desk. Phoebe broke her nose after falling in a library. As doctors assess the damage to her face, Phoebe and Matt share the story of how their friendship developed into love.
