Today Tuesday 14 February 2023, there is a new episode of 24 Hours in A&E.

Episode 7 After a car accident, 46-year-old Sara is transported to the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, which has one of the busiest emergency rooms in Europe. As she rode shotgun, Glen, her husband, was at the wheel. Doctors are worried about Sara’s life-threatening head and chest wounds as they tend to her wounds. Glen remembers when they were young and how happy they were together.

Simon, 54, has arrived at the ER after crashing his bike on the way to the store to buy a helmet. His health continues to worsen as doctors examine the extent of his injuries and begin treatment. Simon reflects on his history and discusses raising his two sons, the most important aspect of his life, as well as the things he wishes he had done differently.

James, Chris’s 16-year-old son, has been brought in after he severed a finger while scaling a fence. James talks about his affection for his father as surgeons work to preserve his finger.
