48 Hours The Mysterious Death of Tiffiney Crawford (CBS Saturday March 25, 2023)

Today Saturday March 25, 2023, there is a new episode of 48 Hours.
The Mysterious Death of Tiffiney Crawford Jason Crawford called the police after hearing gunfire in the home. Tiffiney Crawford, 32, was found dead in the driver’s seat of her van when sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene on May 2, 2017. There were two bullet holes in her head. In her left hand, she held a gun. Right-handedness was her strong suit. At first glance, at least one deputy thought Tiffiney Crawford had committed suicide. After that, detectives dug much farther. Crawford gives his only interview on the case for the show.
In Cullman, Alabama, Jason Crawford was found guilty of murdering his wife and given a 99-year sentence. Crawford insists that his wife shot herself despite the verdict in an exclusive conversation with Begnaud. The investigators had doubts because it is so unusual for someone to shoot themselves in the head with their non-dominant hand and fire twice.
“My family and friends … they never questioned that I wouldn’t kill my wife,” Crawford says.
“Did anything about your relationship with Tiffiney lead you to believe that she was suicidal?” Begnaud asks.
“Not at the time. Looking back, just seeing how depressed she actually was and reading some of her journal … makes me think she was hiding a lot of stuff,” Crawford says.
“Did you kill your wife?” Begnaud asks.
“No,” Crawford says.
