RADIO FREE EUROPE – Once dismissed as a relic of the Cold War, Radio Free Europe has emerged as a crucial weapon in the fight against disinformation and authoritarianism in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The $140 million annual budget of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty has recently received bipartisan support from the United States Congress. Bill Whitaker travels to Prague to meet the courageous journalists at RFE, the organization responsible for its fearless reporting. Graham Messick and Jack Weingart are the producers.

RETURN TO GORONGOSA – The wildlife of Gorongosa National Park, once considered the jewel of Africa’s national parks, was wiped out by war for three decades. Scott Pelley reveals the positive effects that Idahoan and former tech entrepreneur Greg Carr has had on a park in Mozambique and its inhabitants.
