A Brush with Comedy airs a new episode tonight Wednesday 29 March 2023 on Sky Arts.

The feature-length documentary, which is based on the RTS Award Nominated Short, explores the relationship between humour and art and the creative processes of comedians. Over the span of three years, five comedians (Jim Moir, Spencer Jones, Bec Hill, Simon Munnery, and Miriam Elia) work on a collaborative exhibition to be held in central London. To find the emotional, comedic, and artistic tendencies that have never been seen on screen before, we learn what each can do artistically and what the end objective is. Louis, Jim’s son, not only wrote and directed the docs but also narrated and shot some of it.
