Show Me The Money, a three-part AFL documentary series, will premiere on Stan in March. It’s produced by Eddie McGuire’s JAM TV and profiles sports agents, revealing the behind-the-scenes wheeling and dealing of the game’s rising superstars during the league’s Trade Period.

JAM TV Chief Executive Officer Cos Cardone said: “The Trade Period is one of the most fascinating aspects of AFL football – and for the first time, the backroom deal making will be given the true sports documentary series treatment. The repercussions and ramifications always make for compelling storylines that we know will fascinate viewers.”

Show Me The Money will follow the exploits of the AFL’s most influential agents as they negotiate on behalf of the game’s greatest players from some of the league’s most powerful clubs. The series also follows the fortunes of some of Australia’s greatest young players as clubs compete in the AFL Draft for the chance to sign a future superstar.

This is the first time clubs, players and agents have agreed to reveal this mysterious facet of Australian football. Fans will have a front-row seat to the dramatic and exciting action, as contract negotiations for the AFL’s multi-million dollar stars take place for the first time. The stories are gritty and authentic, centred on the emotional and financial tug-of-war between powerful player agents and club executives. A phone call may turn careers and lives upside down.

The series will feature four of the AFL’s most prominent player agencies: Connors Sports Management, Hemisphere Management Group, Players Ink and Corporate Sports Australia.

Stan Chief Content Officer Cailah Scobie said:Show Me The Money will take footy fans on a rollercoaster ride behind the scenes of the AFL Trade Period. Highlighting the breadth of our Stan Originals slate as part of our continued ramp up of original content, this blockbuster documentary series will feature a who’s who of AFL superstars and explore the high stakes world of player agents and club managers. We are thrilled to be collaborating with the accomplished team at JAM TV on this project.”
