What is this episode about

Alison Steadman and Larry Lamb, who played Pam and Mick Shipman on Gavin & Stacey, take a road trip down memory lane from Billericay, Essex, to Barry Island, South Wales, a distance of 210 miles.

Alison and Larry are at the start of their B-road bimble from Billericay to Barry. Gavin and Stacey fans know Russell Tovey, aka “Budgie,” as the Billericay Boy they meet in Epping Forest. Russell and Larry persuade Alison to ride an unusual-looking electric bike with them, and Russell explains why Gavin is from Billericay.

Later, at a tree-planting ceremony planned by the mayor, Alison, a bird watcher for as long as she can remember, gets up close and personal with hawks, kestrels, and one of her favourite birds, a barn owl.
