Animal Park airs a new episode tonight Thursday 6 April 2023 on BBC One.

Episode 9 A clutch of eggs is discovered by the caretakers, much to their delight, in the emu stable. The first ostrich baby for the park? Possible. This father emu hasn’t gotten the message that he’s meant to rest on the eggs. The caretakers are putting forth every effort to aid the future parents, but they are not relying solely on any one strategy. We have placed some of the embryos in incubators, and early results look good.

The offspring of the rock hyrax are in danger again. The caretakers had been worried about lumps on mother earlier in the series, but now they have to worry about the mature male assaulting the babies. The guards need to figure out why immediately. When will peace return to this household?

In addition, Jean Johansson participates in a moth study, and Kate sees a white-tailed sea eagle, one of the park’s amazing wild visitors.
