What is this episode about

Morgan, Annika’s daughter, begins working at a rustic Scottish eco-resort in this episode. To show her daughter some love, Annika takes a short vacation there. Unfortunately, the trip takes a sour turn when the body of a local builder employed by the resort is discovered in a nearby stream. Annika’s father, who she compares to King Lear, forces her to live with him while the investigation progresses.

Despite the disruption to her vacation, Annika dove headfirst into the case, investigating potential witnesses who had grievances with the local contractor. Along the way, they meet the resort manager, a fiercely protective youth group leader, and a formidable business partner based in Glasgow.
