Antiques Road Trip

What’s happening on Antiques Road Trip Today Wednesday 28 September on BBC One; Tim Medhurst and Margie Cooper are on the Isle of Man for some antique shopping, so raise the anchors and set the sails because this road trip will take them to the Irish Sea.

Tim takes a chance on a few purchases, choosing a captain’s chair, two bears, and a bronze football player sculpture. He’s overjoyed to discover something from the Ivory Coast, but Margie plays it safe and spends £1 on an old corkscrew! She does spend a lot of money on a cocktail shaker and an antique sewing machine that has all of its extras.

Tim rides on the world’s oldest horse-drawn tram in Douglas, and Margie takes the time to learn about the Tynwald Parliament’s significant contribution to democracy.

After that, it’s off to Blackpool’s renowned Winter Gardens theatre to watch the auction. But can Tim catch up to Margie, or will she easily take the lead?
