Antiques Roadshow: Clissold Park, Stoke Newington 2 airs Sunday 4 June 2023 on BBC One

The roadshow is located at Clissold Park in the London Borough of Hackney’s Stoke Newington neighbourhood. On display are items such as a racing helmet worn by Lewis Hamilton, Scandinavian jewellery, and Blade Runner memorabilia.

While Will Farmer examines a perspex mermaid sculpture by Arthur Fleischmann, Marc Allum is inspired by the story of Brafa, the British Reggae Artists Famine Appeal, a 1985 fundraising response to Live Aid.

A collection of psychedelic rock posters from the 1960s catches Jon Baddeley’s eye, while Siobhan Tyrrell shocks the owner of a pair of medals by telling him that their value has increased because they are made of plastic.

Jon Baddeley evaluates an incredible collection of film props and memorabilia from the cult science fiction classic Blade Runner, while Hilary Kay marvels at a racing helmet worn by Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton and hears about one man’s memorable race day experience.

Raj Bisram takes a look at a rare Dunhill table lighter, and Susan Rumfitt inspects a beautiful piece of diamond jewellery.

The first British woman to make a solo balloon flight, Margaret Graham, is buried in the nearby Abney Park cemetery, which Fiona Bruce visits and learns more about some surprising pioneers who are buried there.
