In Bridging The Gap, the first new episode of Auf Wiedersehen Pet for 16 years Oz gathers the gang back together with a fake wake for himself, Wayne’s black son Wyman turns up and reveals that his father died three years previously. Oz has a plan to make their fortune by dismantling Middlesborough’s Transporter bridge the only trouble is they need 75,000 pounds stake money. It turns out Oz has spent time in prison with a prominent MP who is behind the plan.
Great to catch up with the lads once again, all of whom bar Oz and Barry seem to down on their luck. Moxy is working in the kitchens of a club for big time Liverpool gangster Mickey Startup, Neville’s building business is on the verge of going under, Dennis is working as a cabbie, Bomber is doing a bit of this and that, Wayne’s son says he is DJ, Barry has gone into big business and teamed up with the Russian Kadi and is married to his sister Tatiana.
