At Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire’s Palace Theatre and Grand Hall, five acts perform in front of a crowded theatre.

Our host for the evening is the Glaswegian stand-up comedian Christopher MacArthur-Boyd, who is joined by the three judges: Josie Long, a former New Comedy Awards winner; Susan Riddell, a writer, comedian, and actress; and head judge Fern Brady.

Su Mi, Krystal Evans, Ania Magliano, Marjolein Robertson, and Weegie Hink Ae before the judges decide who will advance to the grand final in November, that perform their sets. Who will be the sole victor if there can only be one?
