Blake’s 7: Bounty (BBC-1 13 Mar 1978, with Marc Zuber)
In Bounty ex-President Sarkoff is in exile on a remote planet. He is under heavy Federation guard but Blake and Cally intend to persuade him to return home to reunite his people. The Federation on the other hand would like to see him installed as a puppet leader doing their bidding.
Meanwhile the rest of the crew are waiting in orbit above the planet when a civilian craft, the Star Queen, appears close by, sending out a distress signal. Avon and Jenna are convinced it may be a trap, Gan wants to go and investigate. He wins the argument and does investigate but when he sends a message about being teleported back aboard the Liberator Zen tells Vila that the voiceprint does not in fact belong to Gan, its too late though as Avon has already teleported him back.
Blake eventually persuades Zarkov to return with him but back on the Liberator the crew have been captured by a team of bounty hunters led by an old ‘friend’ of Jenna’s called Tarvin. Given that Jenna is walking around the ship free Avon and co think she has betrayed them.
We soon find out that Jenna has not betrayed Blake and the rest, she is working hard to free them, she also seems to have incredible strength dispatching one of Tarvin’s men, knocking him out cold with a single kick in the unmentionables.
Another of those episodes that plonks the crew into a distinctly Earth like environment, in this case a Victorian style folly complete with Sarkoff being chauffeured around in a vintage car. The excuse being that the ex-president is an aficionado of all things Earth and has amassed a fine collection of original pieces.

None of us showed conspicuous intelligence on this occasion.
