The Brothers: Hit And Miss (BBC-1 13 Oct 1974)

In Hit and Miss things are moving on apace with the floatation of Hammonds but not everybody is happy about the situation. David in particular is growing increasingly frustrated with life as an executive and is harbouring dreams of becoming a racing driver. He makes a big announcement to Jill about his plans only for her to reveal that she is pregnant.

Meanwhile the entire board is invited to a shooting party at the estate of Sir Neville who ultimately has the final yes or no on whether Hammond has the potential to survive as a public company. Bill proves to be the star shot surpisingly.

Things are starting to widen out now as more characters involved with the floatation come on board. Merroney makes another appearance albeit another straight laced cameo.
