The Opel Manta GTE needs to be rescued, so Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townshend travel to Rochdale to do it. Alan, a former amateur rally driver, loved his Manta so much that he refused to get rid of it, even after it had gone off the road.

Alan’s loved ones are hoping that the Car S.O.S therapy will help him come out of his shell again after he became somewhat reclusive due to health issues and the death of his wife from cancer.
