Celebrity Race Across the World: Episode 2 airs Wednesday 27 September 2023 on BBC One.

What is this episode about

The sprint to Tromsø has begun. The four teams of two must set out from Pinho in Portugal’s Douro Valley and travel 2,000 kilometres across Spain and France to reach the second checkpoint in Bonifacio on the beautiful island of Corsica. McFly drummer Harry Judd and his mother Emma, British racing driver and commentator Billy Monger and his sister Bonny, All Saints singer Mel Blatt and her mother Helene, and broadcaster and weatherman Alex Beresford and his father Noel all make up the competing teams.

These famous people, used to travelling in style and on a strict schedule, will have all of their modern conveniences cut off, including their phones, computers, and credit cards. Each team has a strict budget that must not exceed the cost of flying that distance. This race will not be any easier than the others in the regular series.
