In short lived sitcom Charley’s Grants, the Lord Charley (played by Willoughby Goddard) of the title is determined to lay his hands on a series of artistic grants – despite his lack of artistic ability.
The series was written by arch satirists John Fortune, John Wells and N. F. Simpson. It was tucked away in a late night Sunday night slot so didn’t get too much of an audience.
