At Château de Lalande, Stephanie and Gerry go bold with a colourful project in the tower staircase that Stephanie wants to turn in to a pigeonniere – a place to keep pigeons. In cognac country, Sarah and George are under pressure renovating a bedroom in time for a wedding in just a week’s time.

And at Château de la Ruche, Tim and Rebecca’s gîte conversion has moved on to the next stage. But making the place weathertight is only half the problem as the heatwave becomes unbearable.
