Come Dine with Me: The Professionals: Episode 10 (S1EP10 Channel 4 Friday 8 July 2022)
In Manchester, husband-and-wife team chef David and front of house staff Rachel are hoping to wow their guests with their posh pub grub at Hayden’s Kitchen at The Gallows in Milnrow, Rochdale. The rival restaurateurs they’re out to impress are Saju and Ganga from Amma’s Canteen, and Jo and Mike from The Waterside.
The group are soon swapping stories about the famous faces who have dined at their tables and Saju trumps everyone with a royal revelation to leave the others in awe. On day two, married couple Saju and Ganga tantalise the guests’ taste buds with their authentic South Indian offerings, however the inclusion of cassava in their main course isn’t to everyone’s liking. There’s further discomfort when Mike says Jo reminds him of a coconut and David choses to compare his wife Rachel to a sauteed prawn.
Finally, it’s Jo and Mike’s turn to impress with cocktails and gastropub cuisine from their waterside bar and restaurant by the canal in Eccles. The musical entertainment has the group on their feet, but the pork belly crackling gets a professional dissection, leaving Mike somewhat miffed. Have our hosts blown their chances, or have they done enough to be in with a chance of grabbing the £1000 prize money?

Season 1 Episode 10
In Come Dine with Me: The Professionals, teams of professional chefs and restaurateurs will take on each other in a bid to be crowned the best independent restaurant in their town, county or city.
Each self-contained episode will feature three local eateries competing to claim the prestigious CDWM:TP award and a cash prize shared among the winning restaurant’s staff. Each restaurant will be represented by a partnership of two – for example the owner and head chef – who will welcome their rivals for a meal that they hope will impress. The dinner takes place during a normal service, so the visitors will have the chance to check out the atmosphere, the food and the service. At the end of each meal, the visiting restaurant pairs will score the evening out of 20 with the highest scorers overall scooping the prize. Iconic CDWM voiceover Dave Lamb will be bringing the action together as narrator of each programme.
