Country Home Rescue with Shaynna Blaze Premieres Wednesday 16 November on Channel 9

Today Wednesday 16 November 2022 a new series, Country Home Rescue with Shaynna Blaze, premieres on Channel 9.

Shaynna Blaze has been a judge on The Block for 14 seasons and has also helped homeowners freshen up their rooms on Selling Houses Australia.

Shaynna is doing it for the first time for herself and her family in the uplifting new series, Country Home Rescue with Shaynna Blaze.

In this new series, Shaynna and her children take on the renovation of a decaying ancient home in regional Victoria.

Shaynna aspires to transform a 130-year-old country cottage into her family’s lifelong home. The run-down property was originally purchased as a film set for the family’s first filmmaking attempt.

Shaynna now wants her daughter Carly and son Jess to pitch in and help her build her dream.

She only has to persuade them first! We get a glimpse into the intricate (and occasionally absurd) workings of Shaynna’s design mind as she maps out the renovation strategy and gives each room its own “title.”

The concept appears simple: remodel the existing house and features to make the ideal country home escape, but the property, and its 1890’s DNA, has other plans for Shaynna’s workload and budget.

Watch as they traverse a never-ending maze of obstacles when their lofty plans are derailed by building limitations, irritating delays, and a massive financial overrun.
