Rachel Nickell’s murder on Wimbledon Common in 1992 was a frenzied attack on a young mother carried out in broad daylight with only one witness – her 2-year-old son, Alex. The tragedy gripped the British public and placed Rachel’s family at the centre of a tabloid hurricane, forcing them to flee the country.

Nearly 30 years later, Alex returns to the UK with his father Andre to explore his mother’s murder and the events that followed, visiting the scene of the crime and meeting professionals involved in the case, in this powerful authored documentary.
