Kardea Brown is preparing a Derby Day-themed lunch in preparation for an afternoon of horseback riding with her closest friend Yolanda. Kardea’s Hot Brown Sandwiches begin with roast turkey covered with a deliciously cheesy sauce. Kardea’s take on the traditional derby drink is a Ginger Mint Julep, which she prepares with smoked cheddar, olives, nuts, and chives. Miss Brown’s Kentucky Butter Cake, last but not least, is a fluffy, buttery cake that melts in your mouth!
