Dr. Phil Today Monday December 5

Dr. Phil Today Monday December 5, 2022, on CBS. There are wildfires that wipe out entire towns, tornadoes that obliterate everything in their path, and hurricanes that are so strong they cause a water surge that is so high that towns are submerged under the sea.

Imagine yourself caught in one of these situations, paralyzed by fear and convinced that you and your family are going to perish.

It can be difficult to rebuild your house and your community, but dealing with the emotional fallout can be just as or even more traumatic than the actual event.

Dr. Phil meets Danielle, whose home and community were both destroyed by Hurricane Ian while she and her two disabled sons were trapped inside.

Danielle now claims that the trauma she experienced during the storm has left her barely able to survive. Then, after a tornado destroyed his school in Moore, Oklahoma, killing his classmates and burying him alive, Athena and her husband, Simon, claim that their 9-year-old son, Xavier, was never the same.

Tragically, Athena and Simon claim that Xavier committed suicide as a result of the trauma he experienced that day just a few weeks before the tornado’s fifth anniversary.

The sisters of Xavier, Haley and Marissa, who were also negatively impacted by the tornado, sit down with Dr. Phil.

Airdate: Monday December 5, 2022 at 3.00pm on CBS.

Dr. Phil McGraw tells compelling stories about real people dealing with a wide range of emotional and behavioural issues, removing the shame and embarrassment that prevents people from seeking help.
