David Dastmalchian, an actor and writer, and Peaches Christ, a comedian, will host the awards show for the third year running.

On January 23, the nominations for this year’s awards were announced, and they include works by Jordan Peele (“Nope”), Ti West (“X” and “Pearl”), Dan Trachtenberg (“Prey”), Scott Derrickson (“The Black Phone”), Noah Segan (“Blood Relatives”), the Duffer brothers’ Netflix series “Stranger Things,” Bryan Fuller (“Queer for Fear”), Zach Cregger (“Barbarian”), and Damien Leone (“Terrifier 2”).

Season 2 Episode 1

The Fangoria Chainsaw Awards are an award ceremony focused on horror films and thriller films. Beginning in 1992, the awards were expanded, and an annual ceremony was inaugurated to give out the awards. As of 2015, Fangoria also delivers awards to television series.
