The first three episodes of the eight-episode limited series “Five Days at Memorial” will air globally on Friday, August 12, and one new episode will air each Friday through September 16 thereafter.
“Five Days at Memorial” is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Sheri Fink book that is based on actual events and describes how Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath affected a nearby hospital. At a hospital in New Orleans, exhausted caregivers were forced to make decisions that would affect them for years to come as a result of rising floodwaters, power outages, and extreme heat.
