Fly Into Danger: In A Spin (ITV 7 Jun 1972, with Robert Keegan)

In In A Spin, the second episode of Fly Into Danger, Chris is less than impressed after discovering Jeff Strong was faking about the fuel blockage to show him the importance of plane maintenance.

We also discover that Ritchie and Strong are running some kind of smuggling operation. It’s tied up with an illegal immigration racket run by the sinister Moji Patel and the missing son of Bandara Lal – who just happens to be hiding out in the spares storeroom.

The plot kicks in properly in this second episode and it’s quite a hard hitting one and pretty pertinent to a modern audience still – people smuggling. Moji Patel is the face of the “organisation” that is control the immigrants. Making them work and pretty much taking all of their money in the process.
