Follyfoot: Someone, Somewhere (ITV 28 May 1972, with Fulton Mackay)
In Someone, Somewhere still is still away from Follyfoot looking for his mum in Liverpool convinced that somebody must know where she is, meanwhile another has landed up at Follyfoot, brought in by the police after newcomer to the area Mrs Wilmot thought it was a stray. Dora, knowing that the horse is too well cared for to be a stray, determines to find it’s owner.
There is a handy little flashback to the events of A Day in the Sun that saw Steve head off, it had been nearly 8 months since the end of the first season.
Excellent guest appearance from Fulton Mackay as the husband of Mrs Wilmot and who gives Dora the idea for tracking down the horse’s owner (who as it turn’s would rather the horse went to Follyfoot anyway.)
Jane Hutcheson, who has a small role here, would go to be a major player on Emmerdale Farm during the late seventies and eighties.
