For Her Sins: Episode 4 airs Thursday 8 March 2023 on Channel 5

This is the last episode of this four part thriller. Maggie threatens Liam, a journalist, with legal action if he continues to pursue Laura but he takes it all in stride, and it becomes abundantly clear that he, too, has dirt on Maggie, which leaves her shaken. Liam then gets to know Emily. Laura’s confession, she says, will be emailed to him later that night. Then, a distraught Emily calls Rob to report that Laura has committed a terrible act. Emily attempts to seduce Rob at his home, but he resists and tries to leave. Emily interrupts and warns him not to disrespect his wife. They get into an argument because he doesn’t believe her. Emily then picks up Eliza from school and they head to a secluded beach after picking up a drugged Laura from the house. Laura and Emily face off on a cliff while Eliza is locked in the lighthouse, and a fierce struggle for control ensues as Laura’s memory returns and secrets are revealed.

Laura is a woman who has the perfect family on paper – a loving husband and two beautiful children. But like any family there are cracks in their perfect veneer. Cracks that Emily, a charismatic stranger, is hell bent on exploiting.

We see Laura led down an increasingly dangerous path as Emily nurtures Laura’s neuroses about her ability as a mother, fuels tensions in her marriage and reignites an old flame from Laura’s past. But Laura is hiding something too… and these two women are bound by a shared secret, one they have both tried to keep buried. But nothing stays a secret forever.
