A group of armed robbers use a truck to break into a jewellery store on a busy Birmingham street at lunchtime and make off with $300,000 in gold. They were able to get away in under a minute. Drew Birtles, a forensic scene investigator, is sent to the jewellery store to collect any forensic evidence that may lead to the perpetrators’ identities.

When no concrete forensic evidence is found at the crime scene and the robbers switch cars, the trail goes cold, making the investigation more difficult.

Theft suspects have been identified, and police are looking to forensic evidence from the stolen vehicles for clues that could lead them to the perpetrators.
