Today Tuesday 21 March 2023, there is a new episode of Great British Menu.
Central England: Starter and Fish The last of England’s heats have started. Marianne Lumb, a former participant who is now a private chef for high-end clientele, returns back on the show after a four-year hiatus. She is joined by her fellow chefs, including Kareem Roberts, head chef at Trinity in Cambridge, and Tom Shepherd, chef patron of The Flintlock in Cheddleton and Upstairs in Lichfield.
Andi Oliver, the host, invites them into the kitchen, where the theme of the competition is a tribute to the 65th anniversary of Paddington Bear and British animation and illustration in all its forms, from comics to video games. Each episode ends with one of the four chefs being eliminated from the competition at the hands of the veteran judge, a former winner who is kept under wraps from the chefs right up until they go into the kitchen to sample the canapés for the first dish.
