Today Thursday 16 March 2023, there is a new episode of Great British Menu.

Northern Ireland: Judging Two of Northern Ireland’s top chefs will have to re-create their award-winning six-course meals for a head-to-head showdown. While presenting their dishes to the new panel of judges, will they heed the counsel of the seasoned chef?

Chef Marcus Wareing of Michelin fame, Nisha Katona of the Catbird Seat restaurant, and comedian and food podcaster Ed Gamble must be impressed. Oliver Jeffers, a guest judge and an award-winning author and illustrator who has published an amazing 19 books, is also present. How does he feel about food that celebrates the 65th anniversary of Paddington Bear, a British animated and illustrated character?

One chef will emerge victorious and go on to represent Northern Ireland in the national finals.
