The penultimate episode begins 30 years ago, on the night which changed the fate of the Lynch family forever.

As Max and Erin’s relationship grows ever more complicated, the pressure on Max from his police handler Jackie steadily increases. Kenny and Yvonne spend a night together that leaves her feeling compromised, and facing a tough choice.

Elsewhere, Roy and Sandy tackle their troubled history before Maggie takes personal charge of discussions, steering the future of the Lynch family in a surprising direction.

Under pressure from an increasingly menacing Teddy, Kenny makes a shocking discovery. Meanwhile, Max faces a multitude of threats from Roy and Maggie, which sees him come face to face with his oldest threat.

Written by Neil Forsyth, Guilt stars Mark Bonnar as Max, Sara Vickers as Erin, Sandy McDade as Jackie, Emun Elliot as Kenny, Rochelle Neil as Yvonne, Stuart Bowman as Roy, Ian Pirie as Sandy, Phyllis Logan as Maggie and Greg McHugh as Teddy.

Guilt is an Expectation and Happy Tramp North co-production for BBC Scotland and BBC Two.

All four episodes of Guilt are available to view on BBC iPlayer.

Airdate: Tuesday 26 Oct on BBC Scotland and Thursday 28 October on BBC Two at 9.00pm.
