The semi-final is taking place during social media week. With just four cooks left to compete for a spot in the final, the mentors are ratcheting up the pressure with their most difficult set of challenges yet.

The Level Up challenge for this week is to turn common biscuits into decadent desserts that not only taste amazing but also have a catchy enough appearance to go viral.

For the Service Challenge, the hub is transformed into a street food festival, and each of the cooks is tasked with running their own street food stall, with a menu that showcases the sort of food business they would like to have in the outside world. The cooks are not only judged on taste, but also on how likely their food is to make a noise on socials.

In a dramatic Knives Out, the bottom two cooks must make one of Kayla’s favourite dishes: fish tacos. But at the end of the day, one more cook must go home and narrowly miss out on a place in the final.

Hungry for It gives 10 aspiring cooks from all over the UK, all desperate to carve out a career in the food industry, a chance to skill up and put their talent to the test, with one amateur cook winning a life changing prize. The chefs will live together in a house, whilst competing and creating amazing dishes, in an attempt to impress industry experts and mentors.

This exciting new competition plays out in two distinct spaces – a restaurant and a street-food inspired pop-up.
