In No Escape Kizzy is now living with Olivia Brooke neither are finding the new arrangements overly easy. The annoying Mrs Cuthbert also can’t help sticking her nose in where it is not wanted. Kizzy herself is still getting a hard time from Mrs Cuthbert’s equally annoying daughter Prue. In fact she is leading quite the gang of bullies who are making Kizzy’s walk home from school a torrid time.
Matters get completely out of hand when Prue and her friends cause Kizzy to bang her head and get knocked out. Although Olivia Brooke sees what happens and rushes to rescue Kizzy she doesn’t want to make a fuss of it in case it makes it harder for Kizzy once she is back at school. Meanwhile Clem Oliver pays a visit to Miss Brooke and tells her that the boys have decided to protect Kizzy.
Kizzy herself has had enough and makes plans to run away once more with her horse Joe. Sadly the very elderly Joe dies before Kizzy can put her plan into action. A talk with both Admiral Twiss and Olivia makes Kizzy see that she really does have to try and make a go of things.
As the series nears it’s final episode it looks like Kizzy might be making some progress even if it feels at times like two steps forward and one step back.
