What is this episode about

Fish are the dominant marine organisms due to their incredible diversity of form and behaviour.

The male weedy sea dragon carries the eggs for months on his tail, protecting them from predators in the process. Meanwhile, the sarcastic fringehead seems to fight with its head turned upside down.

The world’s fastest swimmer, the sailfish, can grab sardines from a shoal moving at 70 miles per hour, and slow-motion cameras show them doing so with the grace of a flock of birds. Even more impressively, the tiny Hawaiian goby climbs a massive waterfall to reach protected breeding pools—one of nature’s most perilous journeys.
