Love Island Tonight Sunday 22 January on ITV2
The drama on Love Island continues tonight following David’s goodbye and the recoupling ceremony, not only does Lana want to know why Tanyel chose Ron there is also the arrival of two new Aussie arrivals for everyone to deal with.
Lana immediately wants a deep dive on why Tanyel chose Ron, telling Tanyel “Obviously it’s not nice and you’re like my best mate in here, me and Ron have been happy and now you two are going to be coupled up so I feel like from now on me and you need to have a really transparent relationship… You must be feeling it to have picked him in the first place?”
Tanyel tries to explain: “I need to give it a chance the same way I would give anyone else a chance.”
Meanwhile things are getting tetchy between Olivia and Zara now that Tom is with Zara. Olivia is not pleased but Zara tells her “He’s made it quite clear, he’s quite affectionate from the get go, you can be a classy lady but some people take that as you’re not interested, he’s taken that as you’re not interested.”
Olivia moves on though and next morning she is having her first breakfast date with new partner Haris.
Later on at a pool party the Islanders are shocked by the arrival of two Australian islanders. This is something of a first for the show as both Aaron and Jessie have been on the Australian version of the show. Jessie wastes no time in getting to know the boys asking them all “I was wondering if you guys wanted to come and have a chat in the pool with me for a bit, sorry girls.” Her gameplay is already on as she asks “Are you guys all happy in your couples?” Later it looks like Jessie may have made a connection with Will, bonding over the fact that they are both country people at heart.
