In comedy romance Look Out! It’s Margaret Mitchell’s Solicitors! Simon Flaherty has just joined the Hennessey Theatre Company and immediately fallen in love with leading lady Peg. Against the background to their romance is the company’s attempt to stage an unauthorised stage version of Gone With The Wind despite having already been warned off by Margaret Mitchell’s solicitors.

Lots of well known faces in this Irish romp, Brigit Forsyth, best known for Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads is Peg and the cast also includes David Kelly whose film and TV career began in the 1950’s. A few month after this episode aired he co-starred in Milo O’Shea sitcom Me Mammy but his best known role is that Albert Riddle in Robin’s Nest.

Joe Lynch was another popular Irish actor who at the time was starring in popular sitcom Never Mind The Quality, Feel the Width. Whilst Richard Carpenter who has a small role here would soon quit acting and turn to writing, hitting big with his first series – Catweazle.
