In six part UK crime drama Magpie Murders, best-selling mystery author Alan Conway gives an unfinished manuscript to book editor Susan Ryeland that features Atticus Pünd, Conway’s longtime lead character. When she tries to get Conway to give her the last few chapters, she finds herself in the middle of her own shocking mystery case, which will drastically alter her life in ways she never anticipated.
