On this episode of MAFS, we met Melissa and Melinda, two brides who have very different views on the role of sex in their wedding night.
Melissa, the 41-year-old single mom who calls herself the “Mama Bear” of the group, has been on the dating scene for the past decade with no luck. Melissa is looking for a “Thor,” or an emotionally and physically strong male.
But the experts have other ideas and pair her off with Josh, a Disney-loving father of two. Melissa and Josh have an instant connection, surprising even themselves, but Melissa’s friends are doubtful of Josh’s masculinity.
Confusion arises in the honeymoon suite, however, when Melissa insists she and Josh engaged in sexual activity despite Josh’s denials. Melissa is frightened about them because of the unanswered questions concerning their closeness.
Melinda, on the other hand, is matched with Layton, a fellow business tycoon who shares her ideals, but she is turned off by his physical looks. Melinda won’t give Layton a chance, no matter how highly others speak about him.
Melinda’s attitude changes at the reception as Layton’s speech warms her heart, and the two dance together.
Melinda is having second thoughts about Layton and Melissa’s friends are doubting Josh’s masculinity. Drama unfolds in the wake of their wedding night.
