Mayo Episode Four (BBC-1 2 Apr 2006)

Mayo and the team investigate the murder of the owner of a home for the elderly called Serenity Lodge. But it seems that the victim, Cecil Willard, wasn’t actually that popular and the suspect list is growing by the second. Meanwhile on the romance front, or lack of it, Alex gets a little bit jealous when it looks like Mayo has a love interest when she overhears a phone conversation.

Typically eccentric performance from Sylvester McCoy and more good quality guest stars including Art Malik. Lots of funny moments too such as Martin trying to hit on a trainee nun, clearly a man that hasn’t a clue.
