Once again Hughie Green hosts the talent show with five acts trying to make a breakthrough. This episode featured The Big Dee Band (an 11 piece band), Mandy Ann (a 16 year old singer from Port Talbot), Alex Laredo and Judy (a novelty rope spinning act), impressionist Victor Seaforth and Rivendell who were a four piece band made up of two girls and two boys.

The episode also announced the winner of the Songwriters show from two weeks previously with a Golden Note award up for grabs. Music was by Bob Sharples and his orchestra.
